These are the real deal. For a bike that you want to be correct,
these are perfect for 1983-1987 R/SR brakes, and are fine for
any '68-'87 brakes. Available in gum.

Campagnolo R/SR world logo gum hood pair (NEW!)
There are now many, many reproduction world-logo gum hoods out
there. Some are awful, some are pretty good. Many are dishonestly
sold on eBay as 'NOS' parts, when clearly they are not. These
hoods come from Europe (not California, not Japan, not China,
not Taiwan) and are very nicely made. If I didn't tell you that
they are reproductions, you would almost certainly think that
they were NOS hoods. They are that good. Fits '68-'87 Record /
SR brakes. Available in gum.
A note about brake hoods: It is very possible to tear an NOS hood if you stretch it too far during installation. As we cannot install them, we cannot warrant them for improper installation. The proper method (recommended by Campagnolo) is to install the hood from the back of the lever body, with the lever removed from the handlebars. You may want to use a light lubricant of some sort - water, a small amount of liquid hand soap, etc.
